Manual
The manual method is for you if you already have your own way of consulting the I Ching: three coins, yarrow stalks or any other system you know. You cast outside the site, and here you only read the result.
This method simulates nothing. You toss the coins or count the stalks, and then you mark the lines by hand, from the bottom up. For each line you say whether it is yin or yang and whether it is changing. A changing line is one that turns into its opposite and gives the reading its own text.
Once you have marked all six lines, the site shows you the hexagram, the texts of the changing lines and the resulting hexagram, if there is one. Take your time: the question you asked before casting is the one you will read the answers to.
